Board games have been a hobby for a long time: Catan, Pandemic, Magic the Gathering, Great Dalmuti, and TTRPGS have been some of my favorites. I am also a big wargaming guy. I collect, paint, and play a few different miniature games.
View wargaming projects →I have always loved reading philosophy, starting with Daniel Dennett’s Intuition Pumps and Other Tools for Thinking back in high school. Since then I have ready mostly the modernists, I have especially enjoyed Hume, Kant, Descartes, Spinoza. I have been wanting to read more contemporary works.
I grew up sailing non-keel boats on Lake Washington. I particularly enjoy catamarans and hanging out on the water in the shade of the sail or focusing up and catching as much wind as possible. I've sailed: FJ's, Hobie Waves, and Hobie 16s.
